FAQs

How do I place an order?

Take a look at the services I offer here and pick which category of art you are wanting! Then at the bottom of the page there is a form for you to fill out. This form helps me collect all of the information I need from you all at once, and helps me get a better idea of what you would like done!

When should I order my art?

Timing always varies when it comes to art and depends on how many orders I have ahead of yours, how long your piece will take, shipping, etc. I recommend inquiring at least 2 months ahead of the time you are needing your order by. Of course you can always let me know if you are needing it within a certain time frame, and I will assess my workload and let you know if I can accommodate!

I submitted a request…now what?

Fantastic! Now that you have requested your piece of art, please keep an eye on your email. I will most likely reply within 24-48 hours requesting photos of what you are wanting painted, extra details, etc. and that will also be when we discuss final pricing!

When will I get my order?

I work on all orders on a first come first served basis. Once you have submitted all of the information needed and you have sent your payment, that is when you will be put on my docket of orders!

How do I cancel my order?

Once you have submitted your payment, there will be no refunds issued unless I have not started on your order yet.

How do I get a quality image of my pet for portraits, ornaments, etc. ?

Trust me, I know that sometimes getting a high quality image of your pet is no easy feat. Here are some tips on getting a good picture of your pet!

Assess your lighting: The best lighting for a quality image is indirect lighting. A great way to get this is outside on a cloudy day or in the evening when the sun is not directly overhead. Indoor lighting can sometimes skew the colors of your pet and create unwanted shadows.

It’s all about the angles: The better images are usually taken at eye level with your dog. Portrait mode on your iPhone can be helpful in getting a really clear photo but it is not always necessary!
